The end of Summer is so bitter-sweet...as we kiss our long sun-filled days good-bye, we get one final "hoorah" with Labor Day! It's a 3 day weekend to reflect on those summer memories, hopefully not work, and soak up the sun! As we give the Summer season and Summer fashion one last kiss good-bye, here is your last chance to bust out the Summer essentials.

Pick a hat...any hat....
Cross-body bags are great for weekends out and about. They are stylish and practical. Don't believe me? Just try lugging around your heavy purse all weekend in the sun. You will be sweating in no time and wishing that you had a cross body bag so you could be hands free to ride that bike or sip that cocktail!
Whatever your style (aviators, cat-eye, big and round, classic) make sure you have on a pair to guard your eyes from that strong sun! (Advice: you never know what will happen during the day, so I ALWAYS carry two pairs of sunnies in my bag at all times)
Crop it!
Shorts are essential for a weekend of fun- you can make them casual with a tee, throw on a blazer with them for dinner, or add a sweater for a beach bonfire!
Haviannas....my saving grace. Walking on the sand in heels is a disaster waiting to happen...keep it simple-n-chic in simple flip flops.
No holiday weekend is complete without plenty of swimsuit options!! Make sure you wear one that is appropriate for your activity (i.e. surfing/paddle-boarding/beach volleyball = a top with straps. Sun bathing = bandeau top to rid those nasty lines.)
