I love coming home to a place that is relaxing, inspiring and a reflection of myself. Fashion is not only for the body, but it's also for wherever you call home. A true sense of style translates not only in clothing, but how you live your fashionable life. For the first tme ever, here is a sneak peak into my private little haven that I call my apartment. Enjoy! XO
A glimpse of my walk-in. Sometimes I will just stand in here and stare aimlessly until I am inspired enough to sort out what "look" I want to wear today.
I love a good heel; or 30.
I need a space for everything. It's my own organized chaos.
One of my favorites: my book shelf. It houses my fav DVD collections (Friends and Sex & the City), my loads of fashion books (including my own that I wrote!), and all my precious bags. I need them on display or else I forget what I have!
It's all in the details
1) my chandelier above my bed (LOVE chandeliers...can't wait to collect more!)
2) Keep the faith
3) I love unique photo frames (with photos of loved ones)
4) Some of my jewelry (with my old ballet pointe shoes in the background...I kept a couple pairs from my dancing days to constantly remind me the life I've lived and stay inspired)
I LOVE a simple white bed with pop of color in the pillows.
I wanted an eclectic mix of frames, paintings and pictures to constantly keep me inspired.
Pillow: Kitson LA
Chanel, my college diploma, Audrey Hepburn, painting from my grandma; always inspiring pieces and close to my heart. But the most inspiring in all my room is the picture of my grandma (far left in the gold frame).
