Billabong Design for Humanity event

Last night, I was fortunate enough to be invited to the VIP area of the Billabong Design for Humanity Event. As the beach, fashion and charity all collided into one massive event with 5,000 people in attendance, I could not say no. I am somewhat familiar with the surf industry but was so impressed not only by the size of the event, but the fashion. I wanted to take pics of everyone! As we partied the night away at the Paramount Studios backlot, it was fun to mingle, check out artwork, fashion and charity (and some Chipotle!). Enjoy! XO
Surfers were shaping boards, clothes were being hung from movie sets, and lines had formed for food trucks

Paramount Studios

Swim S/S '13 runway show and surfboards....what a combo!

1) My array of bangles
2) A wetsuit turned into a piece of art
3) Banner for the event

Myself with the head womens designer for Billabong USA (the fashion show was awesome)

Below are some snaps of inspiration of looks I was LOVING!:

Major trend: high-low skirts (especially in florals)

Major trend: wavy hair, and boho style

Major trend: little dresses with booties

Major trend: mixing feminie with biker chic (white girly dress with moto jacket)

Major trend: statement necklace

Major trend: cross-body bag and hippie vests

And then there was me...
