4th of July outfit dilemma: SOLVED.

If you are someone who is not keen on the beach, or strutting around in your bikini, no need to worry because I have plenty of other outfit alternatives for this fabulous holiday. No matter what your day calls for; if you still have to work, have a family bbq, have a neighborhood party, I've got you covered so you can still get into the festive spirit while still looking appropriate. I used my studio space to come up with my top looks for any occassion. Enjoy! XO

For the worker-bee; high-low dress with a pop of color blazer.
(And if you happen to join a bbq after work, this dress is sleeveless, so you can toss off the blazer and opt for a more casual look).

Family BBQ
Nothing is easier or more appropriate (or comfortable!) for a family BBQ than a white cotton dress and jean jacket. Whether its your family, your boyfriends family, or a friends family, this is a classic outfit that will go over great with any crowd. With a basic paletter of jean and white, feel free to show your personal style with fun jewelry!

Party-goer
While some hit the beach, others might be attending a fancier cocktail party. If this is you this season, have fun with it! Show your American pride by wearing a classic red in a fun shape. Keep it light with a short length and spaghetti straps. Add a little classic American flare by adding pearls. Now just grab a martini and wave that American flag!

Trendy
If you are attending a party at a house, sipping cocktails by the lake, or attending a friends bbq, feel free to make yourself a little trendy. The blue and white blouse makes a nod toward the holiday, but the brown leather belt and turquoise jewels make it youthful and trendy. Paired with a classic jean skirt, just add some brown leather gladiator sandals, and you are good to go!

Girly
If you feel like adding a girly flare to your 4th of July outfit, look no further than a frilly, light-weight dress. The top portion of the dress balances well with the subtle bottom portion and a flirty bow leather belt in the midle breaks up the sea of red. All you need to add are some great gold earrings and loads of gold bangles, and you are ready to enjoy your lemonade and bbq!

Classic
If you are attending a neighborhood gathering, nothing is better than going classic (think "Desperate Housewives meets Mad Men"). A high waisted skirt like this is so easy to wear and flattering on most body shapes. When it's paired with a classic white button down (tucked in), this outfit can do no wrong. Add a splash of turqoise jewelry if you are feeling funky and enjoy being American!
