Visiting my parents in Charlotte also meant we would go to a summer BBQ to mingle with others from the tennis club. To me, this meant my chance to break out my light weight dress, wedges and fun accessories. My mother has always reminded me, "you only have one chance to make a first impression, and it better be good." First impressions even happen at relaxed summer events, so make sure you're looking your best!
