Chameleon Kate

Kate seems to blend in perfectly wherever she is. While most people opt for sweatpants on long travels, Kate opts for simple, yet elegant options while making it all look so easy. Kate travels more than more than most people do in a lifetime, so why is it that EVERYTIME she is photgraphed, she is looking stunning? Well it' breaks down into 3 categories:
1) Play up classic pieces. Kate always looks timeless. She sticks to classic pieces like the trench coat and stilettos, but adds her own touches, such as tights with boots. She used classic pieces, but with a modern twist. For example, this trench is a basic coat in a basic Navy color, but it sinches at the waist, giving it a full skirt and girly twist. 2) It's all about proportions. Kate is a woman, and she dresses like one. She never bares it all, or covers up completely. She knows how to use proportions. If she bares her spectacular legs, she covers up on top. Or if she bares the shoulders, she covers up her legs a little bit more. Dressing conservatively is not about hiding feminity, but showing it off; but all in the right proportions, of course.
3) Don't sweat the small stuff. Fashion is meant to be fun, and clearly Kate has fun with her own. NOTHING is more unattractive than someone who tries too hard, or looks uncomfortable with what they are wearing. It's always fun to push the envelope a bit, but let's not tear the envelope.
